The school year is divided into two semesters. Final examinations are scheduled at the end of each semester. One-credit courses are scheduled every day during the semester and half-credit courses are scheduled on alternate days.
The school timetable operates on a five period day with three periods in the morning and two in the afternoon. In order that assemblies, morning announcements and early dismissal for school events do not overly affect classes, the three morning classes rotate and the two afternoon classes alternate. The timetable allows students to earn a maximum of five credits per semester and 10 credits for the school year.
